Terms & Legal

1. About the app
Parko is an internal staff app provided by Parko Cleaning Services for the management of timesheets, holidays, absence, consumables requests and team messages. It is provided to employees and contractors of the business and is not for public use.
2. Your account
- Every employee has their own personal login. Accounts must not be shared.
- The first time you sign in, the Manager (Simon) gives you a starter PIN. The app will then ask you to set your own 4-digit PIN. Only you should know it.
- If you forget your PIN, the Manager can issue a new starter PIN. When you sign in again the app will once more ask you to choose your own personal PIN, so the Manager never knows your real PIN.
- You are responsible for keeping your PIN secret.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Submit timesheets you know to be false.
- Upload photos, notes or messages that are offensive, harassing or unlawful.
- Try to access another person’s account or data.
- Attempt to bypass or interfere with the app’s security.
Misuse may lead to your account being suspended and, where appropriate, normal disciplinary action under your employment contract.
4. Manager & admin access
By using the app you understand that the Manager and admin have always needed to see staff timesheets and payroll, and the app continues that arrangement. They can view, approve and export your timesheets and holiday requests for payroll and scheduling purposes.
5. Data protection
We process personal data in line with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. See the Privacy Policy and Data Protection pages for full details on what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how to use your rights.
6. Working time records
Timesheets submitted through the app are used as the official record of hours worked for payroll and HMRC reporting. Please check your entries before submitting a week — if something is wrong, contact the Manager so it can be corrected.
7. Availability
We aim to keep the app available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Occasional downtime may occur for maintenance or due to issues with internet connectivity or third-party providers. The app supports offline drafts for timesheets so you can keep working if signal is weak.
8. Liability
The app is provided to staff as part of their employment. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have as an employee under UK or Northern Ireland employment law, or under consumer law where it applies. We are not liable for losses caused by misuse of the app, by sharing your PIN, or by issues outside our reasonable control.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, except where you are employed in Northern Ireland, in which case the laws of Northern Ireland apply. Disputes will be heard in the courts of the relevant jurisdiction.
10. Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. Significant changes will be flagged in the app. Continuing to use Parko after a change means you accept the updated terms.
11. Contact
Any questions about these terms — message the Manager in-app or speak to Simon directly.
